There seems to be a great amount of activity amongst many of the men’s magazines titles in launching web sites. One may well be surprised to learn that the Loaded web site has in fact only been up and running for a week, but as one would expect from this title a great deal of planning has clearly gone in to its construction. Often with mens magazine sites you get the impression that the site itself is either a straight transcription of the current issue of the title, of simply a vehicle for advertising the title. Loaded does seem to have set its target at constructing a site which will provide an amalgamation of the usual Loaded style articles with, reviews and articles related to the Internet and PC use.

The aim certainly seems to have been achieved. The site contains a wide variety of pages and articles perhaps the most stylish section is the photo gallery featuring some really good photography. Of course, in the Loaded tradition the vast majority of pictures are of scantily clad women, there is though the usual token picture of Paul Calf (as with any lads title these days). The Seedy Arcade has quite a good products review section with reviews of games, cordless mice, and the Alien of the Month feature (the Chupucabras). Loaded has had a good look around the web and selected various bits and bobs which it feels its readers will be interested in. There’s also the opportunity to down load quite a bit of useful software, often what makes up the best web sites is not just the articles and attractions featured but also the links it can provide to other places of relevant interest.

Loaded is certainly taking advantage of all the information available to it which can in turn be made available to their readers. The Central Station section is probably the best example of this providing good information on Music, TV, Movies amongst others. Other nice little touches are the personalised horoscope which you can arrange to be E-mailed to you, and the Dried Plant News ; reviewing the range of legal herbal tablets available promising “natural, organic herbal pleasures”. Loaded has set a high standard of content to follow in the future, lets hope that the site maintains the tradition to which it has started.
