The Computer Channel is the latest channel to be added to BSkyB’s package. The Computer Channel Online is the site that is supposed to keep viewers permanently in contact with the channel. Unfortunately the site seems to have been created by a computer boffin who has lost touch with reality.
The web-surfer is confronted with a series of strange clickable symbols. Some visitors may allow themselves to be taken on a mystery tour of the site, while other less adventurous surfers will look around for an easier site to navigate.
The Daily News section is about the only section worth checking out; it is also the easiest to find. Other sections include Family Guide, Chips With Everything, Global Village and Games World. These sites are all found by clicking on various items of fruit! On arrival at your destination you are likely to feel just as baffled as you were when you first encountered the site’s home page.
This site is badly written, impossible to navigate and poorly designed. It’s not of this world.
