Website Of The Week: Melody FM
Melody FM’s web site is very disappointing. It comes across that the page is on the Internet grudgingly, as though Melody does not want to be there but feels it should. It seems strange that the ‘Airtime Opportunities’ section is emblazoned with “Forget the Net – TALK to us about your advertising needs” and then gives a phone number. At the bottom of the page is the message that you can use e-mails “if you must”.
The “Contacts List” promises a full lost of phone, fax and e-mail addresses: what is actually present is two phone numbers, three fax numbers and one e-mail address – the same address used throughout the site.
As though this were not bad enough the rest of the site – another two pages – contains only basic information with no interactive facilities or links. This ‘information’ consists of a programme schedule, sponsorship details and reception information.
Graphics are non-existent and the pages are unambitious.
