Westcountry Hopes To Attract The Lads

Westcountry is launching a new programme strand “dedicated entirely to blokes’ stuff” which will aim to attract 18-34 year old males interested in “beer, babes, sport and cars.” The programme, to be called The L.A.D.S, will be broadcast on the ITV Nightime Network from July. It will be shot on location and presented by David Fisher, Terry Alderton and the model Jadene (from Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush). The show also hopes to attract female viewers because it will “throw some light” on the ’90s male.
