World Athletic Championships Round Up

Interest for the World Athletics Championship shown between 5th August and 13th August has been very low, with only Linford Christie’s unsuccessful defence of his 100 metres title watched by more than 6m viewers. Even the BBC1 highlights of the day’s main events failed to attract more than 5.8 million.
