ITV is to return World in Action to the 8.30pm slot on Monday evenings, as part of a new Monday night schedule that will start when the World Cup has finished. The game show Wheel of Fortune will fill the 8.00pm slot directly against EastEnders and at 9.00pm, after World In Action, there will be a new series of the comedy drama Frank Stubbs.
The last series of World in Action was interrupted half way through when ITV rescheduled its Monday evening programmed to counteract the BBC’s Monday edition of EastEnders.
