WPP has announced the acquisition of Premiere Group, a sports marketing and sponsorship consultancy which specialises in the sale of commercial rights for sports and arts organisations.
Premiere consists of two companies, Premiere and Premiere Consulting. Premiere’s clients include Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, the Arrows Formula 1 team and the Subaru World Rally team. The consultancy arm provides sponsorship consultancy services to corporate and brands and has Barclays, Guiness and Procter & Gamble on its client list.
The group will form part of WPP’s branding and identity division.
