WPP Revenues Rise By Over 13%

First Quarter financial results from ad group WPP show that revenues have risen by over 13% to £390.4m with gross profits also rising by over 13%.

By function, revenue growth was above average in advertising (over 10% to £210.5m) and specialist communications (over 13% to £92.8m). Market research revenues (up nearly 8% to £61.5m) and gross profits continued to grow at a similar level to that experienced over the last few years.
