Xfm Makes Sales Appointments

Xfm, the new London alternative radio station, has appointed a sales director and a sponsorship & promotions manager, forming the beginnings of an in-house sales team.

Martin Ball will join as sales director from London News Radio where he has held the same position for two years and Chris Parry, who has been working at Xfm on a freelance basis, will join as sponsorship & promotions manager. Ball, who starts in his new position on March 10, said: “I have every confidence in the name and format of Xfm building a strong brand identity while generating a broad and desirable audience.”

The station expects to announce schedules and presenters in the next couple of weeks.
