XL – First ABC Figure – New Mag Circ Estimates

XL, the monthly health and fitness magazine for men which launched on 9th February has recorded its first ABC; for the three months from February to April its circulation was 68,140. Maxim, the men’s monthly which launched on April 6 is claiming a circulation of around 75,000.

That’s Life, the new weekly Bauer title which launched one month ago is claiming a circulation of 750,000; it is aiming at a younger audience than Take A Break, whose ABC for Jul-Dec 94 was double that figure at 1,507,566. It’s Bliss, the other women’s title which launched recently, on 1 April, is claiming a circulation of around 200,000. It’s Bliss is aimed at 14-19 year old girls. Looks, a women’s monthly aimed at a slightly older age range, 15-24 year olds, recorded an ABC for Jul-Dec 94 of 226,080. Future has claimed its best new launch issue sales performance ever, with PC Guide achieving around 70,000 sales which it says is 82% of news stand stocks.
