Yahoo! Restructures Sales Team With New Appointments

Yahoo! UK & Ireland has restructured its sales department with the appointment of Alex Khan as head of agency sales and Seamus Hunn as head of client services.

Khan, who joins from Silicon Media Group, where he was international business development manager, will work to maximise revenue for Yahoo! through interactive specialist and strategic agency planning.

In his role as head of client services, Hunn, who previously worked for Hollinger Telegraph New media, will manage the client sales team to ensure that campaigns for clients and agencies are carried out to the highest standard. He will also manage a portfolio of Yahoo!’s key business partners.

Both Khan and Hunn will report to head of sales, Nick Fawbert and sales director, Alison Reay, who commented: “Going into 2003 we’re confident about the levels of growth the business will enjoy. These appointments not only strengthen our offer but will also ensure that clients continue to receive the best possible support from Yahoo!”

Earlier this year Yahoo! appointed Viacom Outdoor’s agency sales manager, Nick Fawbert, as sales manager, with responsibility for developing relationships with planning and buying agencies (see Yahoo! UK And Ireland Appoints New Sales Manager).
