According to the latest Youth TGI survey, released this week, More is the favourite title for girls aged 15-19, and has been for the past three years. Just Seventeen has also kept its position over the years, in the number 2 slot. The Sun and News of the World beat Mizz in the girl’s top 5. However, among boys, the Sun is the top title, followed by News of the World. The only magazine which makes it into the boy’s top five is Viz.

Amongst boys at this age, the top title is still the Sun, followed by the two football titles, Match and Shoot!. Viz, which in 1993 was this age group’s favourite read is now ranked number 14.

Amongst the younger children, 7-10, Smash Hits is the top for girls and Beano for boys. Live and Kicking, based on the BBC Saturday programme, makes it into the top five for girls, and Sonic the Comic is a new entry for the boys.
