CIA has confirmed that it has been issued with a writ by Yorkshire-Tyne Tees Television for the sum of over £800,000 as its dispute with Laser now enters a legal phase *CIA Looks To ITC For Arbitration.
YTTV, which is represented by Laser, is seeking the money which it claims CIA owes it for the share of ITV revenue promised for 1995. CIA had offered to go to arbitration to resolve the issue but so far this course of action has not found favour with YTTV.
YTTV says that it hopes CIA “will be ready to agree payment without further delay”. CIA’s response is that the writ is “unexpected” and it is seeking clarification with a view to settling the matter as quickly as possible.
