Zenith In Us “On Defensive”

Brian Jacobs, International Media Director of Leo Burnetts said last night that Zenith’s opening in the United States would not affect the buying market there, in the way the UK market was changed.

There are a number of much larger buying shops in the US, where comparitively Zenith will not be a major player. Brian Jacobs said that the centralisation of Zenith’s media buying together with BSB he actually sees as a defensive move, rather than a progressive action.

Steve King, previous UK managing director of Zenith, is currently in New York investigating setting up Zenith US.
