Aegis Buys Spanish Market Research Firm

Aegis Group has acquired Metra Seis, Spain’s largest independent full-service market research agency. The gross assets of Metra Seis are valued at €3.4 million.

Metra Seis will eventually be integrated with Synovate’s existing Spanish business to create scale advantages and a broader client offer in a top 10 market for market research.

Metra Seis was founded in 1964 and today is a well established business with 75 staff in Madrid and Barcelona. Aegis says that its expertise in quantitative research fits well with Synovate Spain’s existing position in qualitative, and its strong presence in the automotive and FMCG sector is highly complementary to Synovate’s established practices and solutions in these areas.
