Media planning and buying company Aegis is reportedly in talks to buy a stake in digital media company i-Level.
According to sources quoted in yesterday’s Daily Telegraph, Aegis has made it through to the second round of the auction preocess.
Aegis is believed to be competing against independent interactive marketing group AKQA and a couple of private equity firms for i-Level.
i-Level was founded in the 1990s by Andrew Walmsley and Charlie Dobres.
Yesterday it was revealed that Aegis agency Diffiniti landed Sky’s £23.5 million digital media account, previously held by I-Level.
