Almost Two Million Tune In To Secret Diary Of A Call Girl

ITV2’s Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, starring Billie Piper, brought in a peak of 1.8 million adults last night, an 11.7% share of the audience.
The raunchy new series, on at 10pm, had an average audience of 1.6 million adults glued to their screens watching Piper lead a seriously saucy double life.
Over on BBC One at 9pm was Who Do You Think You Are?, which followed maths whizz Carol Vorderman as she delved further into her family’s background.
The always interesting programme had a peak audience of 6.4 million adults (a 31.6% share), well up on last week’s peak of 5.9 million (see ITV1’s Commando Beaten By BBC One)
On IV1 at the same time was the first part of a new series, The Whistleblowers, which picked up a peak of 3.9 million adult viewers (a 19.5% share).
Sadly, it was not a series looking at the private lives of football referees, but rather a new drama looking at people exposing wrong doing and corruption.
At 9pm on BBC Two last night was the laugh-a-minute double bill of Mock The Week and Saxondale.
The amusing panel show had a peak of two million adult viewers at 9pm, whilst the last episode in the current series of Saxondale had a peak of 1.4 million adults.
