AMC partners with Zoom to bring conference rooms to theatres

AMC Theatres has partnered with Zoom Video Communications to bring “Zoom Rooms” to select theaters across 17 US markets in 2023.

Companies will be able to book theatres online to virtually host events, conferences, and conference calls on the big screen.

The announcement is part of AMC’s initiative to innovate to maximize the value of its large seating capacity across the country.

Chairman and CEO of AMC Theatres Adam Aron said the partnership would help AMC broaden its scope and participate in “the multi-billion market for corporate and other meetings”.
