Bitposter hires new business development director

Bitposter, the automated platform for trading out of home media, has appointed Cedric Rouse as business development director.

Rouse joins from OOH media owner Admedia, where he has spent the last seven years building their sales operations – most recently as head of agency sales.

Prior to Admedia Rouse worked at Clear Channel and JCDecaux.

He will report into Craig Mytton, Bitposter’s chief revenue officer, who said: “We appointed Cedric because of his wealth of experience and proven track record in generating revenue from agencies and in building high achieving sale teams.

“He will play a vital part in driving the business forward and bringing revenue to the Bitposter general marketplace which is expected to see significant growth by the end of 2017.”

Rouse added: “I’m thrilled to be joining an award-winning and fast-growing business. I’m looking forward to communicating the exciting new opportunities on offer in OOH to those agencies who buy inventory through the Bitposter platform.

“In particular, I’m keen to encourage those agencies who have not thought about OOH before to creatively and efficiently use OOH as part of their campaigns for the first time.”
