Nynex, the cable television operator, has appointed SG Warburg and Salomon Brothers as advisers on a potential flotation on the London stock market. The move comes as a flurry of cable companies plan to seek a London listing next year.
It has been announced this morning that the annual rate of inflation rose to 2.6% in November. The rate is 0.2% up on the figure for October. These figures are higher than had been forecast.The underlying rate, excluding mortgage interest payments, rose to 2.3% for November from 2% in October.
