The Council of the ITVA (071 636 6866) has issued a statement confirming that the Marketing Committee’s decision to cease the publication of monthly revenue figures at the end of 1991 (Newsline 27/9) has been adopted. Meetings will be held with both the IPA and ISBA to discuss the implications of this decision.

Associated Newspapers (071-938-6000) has merged its circulation department and sales force for the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday in an effort to boost home delivery levels. At the same time the Mail on Sunday will increase pagination from 80 to 96 pages following the launch of the tabloid Sunday Correspondent.
