EMAP should learn tomorrow if its bid for Trans World Communications can proceed. If the Radio Authority’s decision that their bid is legal is upheld, then it may spark a flood of similar media take over bids.

It is understood that Scottish Television and Grampian will both join the ITV sales house TSMS. TSMS will then deal with more than 25% of revenue, but the ITC, although it will need to give its approval, has said it will be flexible regarding the smaller TV stations.
