Centaur Media, publisher of New Media Age, has revealed that revenues in the six months to the end of June were up 10% year on year.

The pre-close trading statement, ahead of full year figures to be released in September, show that this was boosted by strong growth in the marketing and legal sectors.

Online revenues were up by about 15% in the second half of the financial year.

Events also showed an improvement on last year, with the company’s two major events enjoying revenue growth of 12%.

Centaur said it expects full year profits to be in line with expectations.

Shares in the company were up 8% on the back of today’s news.
