Free weekly magazine Sport is to undergo several changes, as the woman credited with launching the title leaves the publisher, according to a report.
Nadia Nardonnet stepped down as managing director of Sport last week after nearly three years with the French-owned title.
According to a report in Media Week, the day-to-day running of the magazine will now be undertaken by publishing director Greg Miall, who has taken over the managing director role on a permanent basis.
Nardonnet, who spearheaded Sport‘s UK launch in September 2006 (see Free Sport Magazine Launches In London), is thought to be considering a career outside of publishing.
Media Week added that Sport is planning to increase its pagination by at least 16 pages in future editions.
The magazine is increasing the pagination of every issue from 48 pages to at least 64 pages.
The latest ABC figures, for July to December 2007, show that Sport magazine had a total circulation figure of 317,209 copies (see ABC Results Jul-Dec 2007:Shortlist Falls Just Short Of Circulation Target).
