Complaints Over Returning Big Brother Contestants

Big Brother Logo Ofcom has received over 600 complaints from members of the public after Channel 4 confirmed that it will be putting a previously evicted housemate back in the Big Brother house.

To decide who will return to the house there will be a public vote, following which four out of nine previous contestants will enter a second house next to the main set n a live show on Wednesday evening.

They will stay there until after Friday’s main eviction when one of the housemates in the main house will choose which of the evictees will join them for the show’s final week. The returning contestant will be eligible for the £100,000 prize.

Today’s Guardian reported that ITV could be in the running to buy the rights to screen Big Brother when formal negotiations begin later this year (see ITV Could Bid For Big Brother).
