An increase in working-from-home during the pandemic appears to be benefiting circulation figures for Home Interest magazine brands, with the vast majority seeing increases on 2020.
The latest consumer magazine ABC data shows a surge in circulation for Gardening titles in particular, with an overall 6.2% increase year on year.
Several Gardening titles grew by double-digits year on year, including BBC Gardeners’ World (14%), Garden Answers (17%), and Modern Gardens (44%).
Although, while very few titles across the Home Interest declined in terms of either print or digital circulation, the biggest print faller was a gardening title. Bauer’s Garden News suffered a 19% fall in print to 33,824.
The market leader for Home Interest, RHS Media’s The Garden, grew 6.7% year on year to 479,886.
