DanTDM named richest YouTuber of 2017 after earning £12.3m

According to Forbes magazine, 26-year-old DanTDM (Dan Middleton) has been named as the highest-earning YouTuber of 2017, making £12.3 million.

The YouTuber has over 16 million subscribers and more than 10 billion views of all his videos, but did not feature in the top ten list last year.

The only woman in the top 10 is Lilly Singh who dropped from third to tenth with £7.8 million.

Last year’s winner has also fallen to sixth place, after he was dropped by Disney in January over allegations of anti-Semitism.
