David Hepworth has been announced as the latest addition to the panel of the MediaTel Group ‘Future of Consumer Magazines’ seminar.
He joins fellow panelists Paul Keenan, chief executive of Emap Consumer Media, Stevie Spring, chief executive of Future plc, and media journalist, Ray Snoddy, for what promises to be an unmissable event.
As well as being one of the anchors for Live Aid, introducing Madonna to a global audience of millions, Hepworth has been involved in launching some of the most successful magazines on the market, including titles such as Q, Empire andHeat.
In 2003, alongside Jerry Perkins, Hepworth founded magazine publishing company Development Hell Ltd, launching The Word, a music monthly, and acquiring Mixmag, the dance music magazine beloved of all clubbing aficionados.
The BBC’s Torin Douglas will chair the seminar, which takes place at One Great George Street in London’s Westminster on 28 February 2007 between 9:30am – 11:30am, with tea and coffee served from 8:45am.
