Dickinson’s Celebrity Exit Brings Success For ITV

Dickinson Last night saw success for ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…, as antique-dealing David Dickinson left the show after losing a viewer vote.

The programme, aired between 9-10:30, drew an average adult audience of 8.3 million, securing a share of 38.3%. The show has held tabloid headlines over the past week, with two contestants forced to quit after injury and illness, and others leaving the show by more conventional means, providing ITV with consistently high ratings.

Elsewhere, BBC One’s Eastenders drew 9.5 million adult viewers on average, securing a 48.3% share of the available audience. Channel 4’s Property Ladder provided the broadcaster’s largest audience of the evening, with 2.6 million on average, while Five’s CSI: Miami continued to prove popular, drawing 3 million.
