Emap Advertising Strengthens Online Team

Emap Advertising Logo Emap Advertising has announced the creation of four new senior roles within the online team. The new appointments mark a restructure designed to deliver effective and pioneering bespoke marketing opportunities for customers and deliver higher levels of customer service.

A new operational team has been set up within the online arm of Emap Advertising. Lisa Mundy, previously Head of European Advertising Operations at Yahoo!, will take up the new role of head of inventory management and product knowledge within the operational team.

Derrick Faulkner, previously online operations manager at ITV Online, will also be taking on a newly created role, as head of traffic and account management.

Nick Reid, previously account director for the Emap online team, takes up the newly created position of head of sales for online in London, leading a team of 14.

Reid will report directly to directly to Digital’s sales director Jason Trout, as will Claudette Parry, Emap²’s creative media director, who will become the digital creative media director. Parry will work with the online Editors, Emap Insight team and the Emap² Strategy team to develop and bring online creative concepts to life. Emap says that this new role will challenge the way traditional agencies use digital in the planning process and develop new advertiser funded interactive content.
