Fat Toddlers No Match For Waking The Dead

Waking The Dead The second part of Waking The Dead triumphed in the 9pm slot last night, easily beating ITV1’s shocking documentary Too Fat To Toddle.

The BBC One crime investigation drama, starring Trevor Eve, had a peak of six million adult viewers, a 28.3% share of the audience.

Over on ITV1, Too Fat To Toddle explored the disheartening world of obese kids. A peak of 3.6 million adults tuned in (a 16.7% share), while an average of 3.4 million stuck with it for its hour long running time.

Channel 4’s Grand Designs Live, also on at 9pm, managed a peak figure of 1.8 million adults, beaten by CSI: Crime Scene Investigation on Five, which had a peak of 2.3 million.

On BBC One at 8pm was medical drama Holby City, which featured the usual thrills and spills, this time with a young Olympic hopeful coming to a premature end as a bid to save her athletics dream ended in disaster.

A peak audience of 5.3 million adults tuned in, a 26.5% share of the audience.
