Five Signs Creative Agency Ahead Of Rebrand

Five Logo Five has appointed Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest as its new creative agency ahead of a rebranding exercise first mooted at the beginning of the year.

The win sees the creative agency succeed incumbent TBWA/London, which decided not to re-pitch for the business.

“We began the pitch process in January this year after assessing our creative needs for 2006,” explained Five’s marketing director, Jane Scott. “I want to thank TBWA for their hard work and their significant contribution to the rebranding of the channel in 2002.

“I am delighted to announce VCCP as our creative agency. They are incredibly forward thinking and provide a great fit with our in-house team. I am thrilled to be working with them.”

VCCP’s founding partner, account handling, Adrian Coleman, added: “We are so pleased to be involved with Five at such an exciting stage of its development and to be working with a strong brand that reflects a quality schedule.”

Five will now push forward its rebranding in order to refresh its marque and reflect recent changed to programming strategies (see Five Scouts For Agency Ahead Of Rebrand).
