Former Campaign editor, Dominic Mills, to become weekly columnist for MediaTel’s Newsline


Dominic Mills is to join MediaTel’s Newsline as a weekly columnist from Monday 26th November.

Mills has over a quarter of a century of experience as a business journalist, editor and editorial director in leading international B2B publishers and was editorial director of Haymarket Business Media for just under 20 years.

Mills’ opinion column will appear every Monday under the by-line of ‘Mills on Monday’. The features will focus on the advertising industry and will complement Newsline’s growing number of media and marketing contributors.

Mills will join former media editor of The Times and Financial Times, Raymond Snoddy, whose Wednesday column has become a must-read across the industry.The audience for Newsline has grown six-fold in the last 18 months.

Dominic Mills said: “I’m delighted to start a weekly column for MediaTel’s Newsline and join a strong and influential group of commentators talking about the things that really matter to the media and advertising community.

“I’ve been given a wide brief to cover advertising – whether it’s the ads themselves, the business of advertising, or the goings on in the creative, media and digital agency world. It’s a fascinating sector undergoing huge change and with larger-than-life personalities. My aim is to give the MediaTel audience a different perspective and lots of subjects to debate.”
