Future Enjoys 4% Rise In Ad Revenue

Magazine publisher Future has reported a 4% rise in advertising income over the past nine months.

Overall revenue rose 1%, with advertising income rose 4% in the nine month period ending June 30.

However, there was a 2% decline in print advertising, although this was offset by a 39% rise in online advertising.

In the three months to the end of June, revenue growth was 5%, although it was flat in the half year to March 31.

Stevie Spring, Future chief executive, said: “We have continued to make good progress during the third quarter of our financial year – particularly in digital development.

“While the market remains tough, Future is proving resilient and we remain firmly on track for a satisfactory outturn for the full year.”
