Hearst UK appoints new head of digital sales

Hearst US’s Hayley Cochrane is to join the publisher’s UK team as head of digital sales.

Cochrane, who leaves her role as senior director and business lead for Hearst Digital Media, will be responsible for driving the commercial operations across all Hearst brands in the UK.

She will report directly to group commercial director, Ella Dolphin, as well as working closely with chief digital officer Darren Goldsby and other digital editors.

“I am absolutely thrilled to have this opportunity to come back to London and lead the Hearst UK digital sales team,” Cochrane said.

“Hearst UK is in a great position to leverage its powerful brands, compelling content and smart use of data to cut through the noise and help marketers engage and influence the consumers they want to reach and I am keen to play my part.”

Hearst Magazines UK publishes 19 magazine brands and five pureplay digital brands including Cosmopolitan, Digital Spy, ELLE, Esquire, Good Housekeeping and Harper’s Bazaar, with a digital audience of 15 million monthly unique users.

Cochrane will start her new role on 2 May 2016.
