‘Hundreds’ of Twitter employees exit over ‘hardcore’ work conditions ultimatum

Hundreds more Twitter employees are said to have left the company yesterday following Elon Musk’s ultimatum that they agree to a more “hardcore” work environment or else leave with three month’s severance pay.

Musk had already laid off around half of Twitter’s initial 7,500+ workforce.

Around half the trust and safety policy team has left, according to The Washington Post, including “a majority” of those who work on spotting misinformation and fake accounts. One former employee said there is “no longer even a skeleton crew” manning several critical systems.
