Initiative appoints head of consumer insight and analytics

Initiative UK has announced the appointment of Charlotte Eagland as head of consumer insight & analytics. Joining in February 2018, her appointment follows the arrival of James Shoreland as chief client officer and new chief strategy officer, Jed Hallam, who she will report to.

Eagland has over ten years’ experience and joins from MC&C, the independent performance agency, where she was head of analytics. Prior to that, she held a number of roles – all within the data analytics field – for companies including BrandScience and Manning Gottlieb OMD.

In her new role, she will be responsible for building up the data, insights and analytical capabilities integral to the agency’s new product.

Richard Morris, CEO, Initiative UK said: “We are delighted to have Charlotte joining us. Our promise is to help our clients’ brands take the initiative in culture, by connecting brands to audiences through genuine cultural insight.

“Charlotte will be pivotal in spearheading our data and tech offering and she will be a huge asset to our agency.”

Eagland added: “I’m thrilled to be joining Richard and the team. Initiative have an exciting group of clients and a very strong commitment to data, analytics and insight. It’s great to have the opportunity to build that strength moving forward”
