IPC Promotes Wigginton To Insight Director

IPC Logo IPC Advertising has promoted Amanda Wigginton to the new role of director of insight, after she took a leading role in launching a host of new IPC Insight initiatives in 2007.

As IPC’s group head of insight, Wigginton recently spearheaded the launch of The Origin Panel, a 7,500-strong women’s panel, and Green Matters, which explores consumers’ attitudes to green issues.

She was previously consumer research manager for IPC Media, and IPC said that she was instrumental in the company’s successful magazine launch strategy.

Neil Perkin, group advertising director, marketing & strategy, said: “This is richly-deserved recognition for Amanda. Working with the Insight team, she has quantifiably raised the contribution of Insight to our advertising business and created value for our advertisers.
