MediaTel Group Announces ‘Future Of Outdoor’ Seminar

MediaTel Group Logo MediaTel Group is to host a seminar on the ‘Future of Outdoor’, bringing together top industry figures for an in-depth debate on the key issues facing the sector.

Last week, the Outdoor Advertising Association revealed that first quarter revenues for the Outdoor media sector rose 7.7% year on year to £237.4 million.

With this in mind, the seminar will examine whether OOH can sustain its recent growth, as well as how recent ownership changes have affected the UK market, and the importance of digital to revenue growth.

It will also consider whether the roles of specialist buyers and agency groups in OOH might change, and whether the new POSTAR can answer old questions.

The panel, which includes Roy Jeans, CEO of IPM; Barry Sayer, UK president of Clear Channel Outdoor; Tim Bleakley, managing director of CBS Outdoor; Craig Wills, head of strategy – Open at JCDecaux and media journalist Ray Snoddy, will also discuss the opportunities and investments offered by the London 2012 Olympics.

The BBC’s Torin Douglas will chair the event, which takes place at One Great George Street in London’s Westminster on 5 June 2007, from 9:30am-11:30am.
