MediaTel Group has launched Press+ – a significant extension to its heavily used press information system within MediaTel.co.uk, the media information system used by over 140 media companies, including all the top 20 media agencies and major media owners.
The launch is the culmination of an 18-month, £500,000 investment in the product, which was a b2b internet pioneer in 1995.
Press+ will provide subscribing agencies and publishers with greater functionality, easier and faster searching of titles, and more detailed information on 12,000 national and regional magazines and newspapers.
David Evans, business director of MediaTel.co.uk told 100 media executives at the Press+ launch in London that the investment is already reaping dividends: “It’s a significant investment for a company of our size, but the initial technology served us well for over ten years and we expect our new cutting-edge software to be just as robust.
“We have added five new clients recently – all heavy press users, and all from our only direct competitor, Brad intelligence, and we expect to add more shortly.”
