In brief

Miroma Group has bought a majority holding in former Manchester United captain Gary Neville’s content company Buzz16.

Neville, a star Sky Sports pundit and entrepreneur, launched Buzz16 in 2016. It produces the ex-footballer’s popular The Overlap YouTube channel, which now has over 500,000 subscribers, and content for broadcasters such as Sky Sports, Warner Bros Discovery and Prime Video.

Miroma took a minority stake in Buzz16 as part of an acquisition of Miroma SET and wants to float the business with a £200m valuation.

“Neville remains a large shareholder and closely involved with the business’ growth strategy,” a Miroma statement said.
