Netflix to broadcast TF1 content in France

Netflix and TF1 have announced a partnership allowing Netflix subscribers in France to access live channels and on-demand content from TF1+ directly on the streaming platform, starting in summer 2026.
The agreement, revealed in Cannes, provides integrates TF1’s five linear channels (TF1, LCI, TMC, TFX and TF1 Séries Films), as well as content from the TF1+ platform, into Netflix users’ existing subscriptions.
This is a first for both TF1 and Netflix.
Users will be able to watch programmes such as Demain nous appartient and The Voice, as well as even live sporting events, without leaving Netflix and will benefit from its personalised recommendation system.
The partnership builds on existing collaboration between the two businesses, particularly in the area of co-productions. The aim is to increase the visibility of the TF1 shows in the French streaming market.
TF1 and Netflix have not disclosed the value of the agreement.
Netflix has existing agreements with various broadcasters, notably Canal+, which distributes the platform in its offerings. This is the first time an agreement is “the other way round”, in which a broadcaster is bringing its content to Netflix.
