Netratings Appoints New MD To European Business

NetRatings, the internet media and market research company, has appointed Louise Ainsworth as managing director of its European business, with effect from September 4.

Ainsworth joins from OgilvyOne Worldwide in London where she was managing partner, Consulting and Planning. Previously she worked at Ogilvy Interactive, with responsibility for the agency’s UK business. Prior to this she held a leadership role at Organic Online London (now Agency.com), strategic roles within the BBC and was a management consultant for Bain and Company in London and Johannesburg.

Ainsworth said: “I am very excited to be joining the NetRatings organisation in EMEA. The Internet industry is experiencing growth across many areas, and NetRatings delivers the data and analysis, backed by a strong heritage of quality and innovation, to help businesses make the most of this expansion.

“Together with the European team, I look forward to working with the company’s impressive client list, to understanding their business needs and to ensuring that Nielsen//NetRatings’ products, services and country coverage meet the needs of the European marketplace.”
