Interactive TV advertising specialists, Press Red, have joined forces with Tui interactive media to provide creative design services for interactive TV advertising.

The increasing demand from clients to combine Press Red’s understanding of interactive creative design has led to the deal with Tui, the company claimed.

Commenting on the partnership, Chris Moreton, Press Red’s co-founder and chief executive officer said: “With our technology having led the way interactive TV advertising over the past four years it has been a natural progression for us to move into providing creative design services.”

Moreton continued: “Tui, one of the UK’s leading interactive design agencies, have been involved in interactive TV design since the early days of Sky, and the synergy between the two companies is perfectly balanced for a successful partnership.”

Neil Aberdeen from Tui added: “Having been involved in interactive TV for over a decade, it’s clear to me that Press Red’s strategy, technology and timing change the game. They fulfil a need that has long held the industry back. They enable planners to plan interactive campaigns and creative agencies to be creative. Tui is very excited about partnering with Press Red. It will bring a new maturity to the iTV business.”

Press Red allows advertisers to create, test and deploy their own interactive campaigns across multiple broadcasters using their BlackBox software, accredited by Sky Interactive for use by agencies in creating campaigns for its Mini-DAL screens.

Advertisers can use BlackBox to create campaigns with rich graphics and dedicated video or audio channels for use by ITV, Sky, Five, Flextech and UKTV channels on digital satellite (see Press Red Launches New Interactive Tool For Agencies).
