Prospect Magazine Celebrates Centenary Of Culture

Prospect magazine, the London-based politics title, is to celebrate its 100th issue in July with a special edition and covermounted CD-Rom featuring 100 of its best essays and articles.

The CD-Rom will feature some of the magazine’s most prominent writers, such as Samuel Huntingdon, Michael Ignatieff, Anatol Lieven, Christopher Hitchens and Timothy Garton Ash. Launched in 1995 the title covers current affairs, culture and politics and attracts content from some of the UK’s most respected writers and social commentators.

In addition to the seminal July issue, which hits news-stands on 24 June, Prospect will also publish a list of Britain’s top 100 intellectuals, inviting readers to vote for their top five and collating the result into the ultimate list of intelligence.

Prospect claims to have become a key player in setting the public agenda for national discussions on both a UK and international scale. It also purports to be required reading for members of parliament, global institutions and influential public figures.

According to the latest ABC data for the magazine it has a circulation of 24,429 and has seen incremental growth over the past two years.
