Return Of Waking The Dead Finishes Off The Fixer

Waking The Dead It was the start of a new series of Waking The Dead last night on BBC One, and it was easily the most watched programme in the 9pm slot, with a peak of 6.8 million adults.

The crime drama, starring Trevor Eve, had a 28.5% viewing share between 9pm and 10pm.

Over on ITV1 at the same time, The Fixer could only manage a peak of 3.5 million adults for its final episode.

Five grabbed a pretty respectable peak of three million viewers with its documentary Extraordinary People: Half Man Half Tree, which followed a man with wood-like growths on his body.

Also in the 9pm slot, the new four part documentary series on BBC Two, Am I Normal?, examined addiction in its many guises.

With addicts ranging from alcoholics to pornoholics, the show had a lot of ground to cover, and picked up a peak of 1.2 million on the way.

Overnight data is available each morning in mediatel.co.uk’s TV Database, with all BARB registered subscribers able to view reports for terrestrial networks, ITV2 and Sky One.
