Richard Eyre Joins Board Of Mobile Ad Firm

Mobile Internet Richard Eyre has been appointed non-executive director and chairman of mobile advertising firm Rapid Mobile Media.

Eyre has more than thirty years experience in the media business, having previously served as chief executive of Capital Radio, chief executive of ITV and CEO and chairman of Pearson Television.

He is currently chairman of the Internet Advertising Bureau, GCap Media, TV production company RDF and a director of The Eden Project.

Eyre said: “Few people doubt that the mobile advertising market will be huge. I believe its time has come.

“In the near future mobile advertising will represent a multi-billion dollar segment of the global media industry. So I believe this company is extremely well positioned to benefit from the growth of a new medium.”
