Richard Stainer joins OLIVER as CEO, global clients

In-house agency OLIVER has hired Richard Stainer as CEO, global clients to expand the agency’s in-house service to global brand clients.

He joins from talent consulting firm Odgers Berndtson where he was partner and global head of media. Prior to this, he held CEO and MD roles at creative agencies TBWA London and BBH London, respectively, and worked across clients including Audi, Diageo, Heineken, Google and Unilever.

“OLIVER’s model is such a compelling draw to come back into the thick of the creative sector – it’s committed to agility and totally future-fit for the age of real-time marketing,” Stainer said.

“I can’t wait to become part of the group and help solidify OLIVER’s reputation as the world’s go-to in-house agency.”

He will report into Simon Martin, founder and CEO of OLIVER, who added: “There’s increased appetite for OLIVER’s way of working, and Richard will be instrumental in rolling out our ‘better, cheaper, faster’ ideology on a global level as part of the agency’s ambitious growth strategy.

“We’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”
