Sky Anytime Moves To TV In March

Sky Logo Sky will be launching the TV version of its Anytime package in March, allowing customers to watch a selection of the week’s best programming on-demand.

Anytime on TV will be available to more than one million customers, making use of the additional capacity available on more recent Sky+ and Sky HD boxes.

Launched next month, the service will be available at no extra cost to Sky customers and, according to Sky, will download up to ten extra programmes a night whilst the viewer is tucked up soundly in bed.

Programmes can be viewed at customer’s discretion, and as new ones are recorded, the old ones that have not been permanently stored by the customer will be deleted.

As well as the launch of the Anytime on TV, on April 4 Sky is rebranding Sky Movies into several genre-based channels, including Comedy, Drama, Indie, and Modern Greats (see BSkyB Makes Movie And Broadband Announcements).
