The Telegraph hires OMD UK’s Aki Mandhar

The Telegraph has appointed Aki Mandhar as chief operating officer, it has been announced.

Mandhar, who will report to CEO Nick Hugh, will oversee all commercial content, newspaper production and circulation, events and commercial operations. She joins from OMD UK, where she was most recently managing director.

Mandhar’s appointment follows the hire earlier this week of Chris Forrester to the newly created role of chief revenue officer.

“It’s wonderful to welcome Aki to The Telegraph,” said Hugh. “Her wealth of experience and industry knowledge make her a key addition to the company and she will play a major role in the commercial development of our business.”
